    Happy 2021!!!

The executive have set up an on line AGM for all CAR/ACF members in good standing (membership dues are paid up to date. Nominations for elected positions can be put forward during the AGM. Scheduling and working out detail proved to be quite a challenge. Given that our nation spans 5 time zone and that members work days as well as other personal commitments gave us little elbow room in scheduling an AGM. We recognize that to ensure that a nominating mechanism is needed for members who are unable to attend the AGM. We therefore will have the option for member who cannot attend of having nominations sent to the CAR/ACF Elections Officer, Allen Upward. Allen will put forward the nominations at the AGM on behalf of members who cannot attend to ensure.

Here is a time line for elections and the AGM.

Nominations by proxy sent to Allen Upward:

Nominations by proxy must be received on or before January 27, 2021

    AGM: Feb 7, 2021

    • 2PM Pacific Standard Time.
    • 3PM Mountain Standard Time
    • 4PM Central  Standard Time
    • 5PM Eastern Central Time
    • 6PM Atlantic Standard Time

Voting will be on line as be12, 13 and 14, 2021

Election certification: On or before February 21, 2021

End of the current term for elected officers: February 28, 2021

New term for elected officers begins: March 1, 2021.

A discussion will be set up in the CAR/ACF Forums for any questions members might have.

Thank you and a very happy New Year to all.

    Heureux 2021!!!!
